Conflict Resolution Workshop

Sunday, May 19, 2024 11 Iyyar 5784

3:00 PM - 5:00 PMMemorial Hall

The Inter-Congregational Partnership Committee (ICPC) invites you to a workshop on "How to Have Conversations with Friends About Difficult Topics." In addition to providing participants with useful tools to navigate our fractured society, we hope the workshop will deepen ties among members of the congregations sharing sacred space at 6601 Bradley Boulevard.

The workshop will be held on May 19, 2024 from 3:00-5:00 pm in Memorial Hall and will be led by Conflict Resolution experts, Adina Friedman, associated with Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University, and Hakam Takash, Founding Director of Jus Gentium, a counter extremism consultancy.

Since the workshop will entail one-on-one dialogue and facilitated small group discussions, participation will be limited to the first 50 people who sign-up. If there is sufficient interest, another session will be scheduled in the future.

Please sign up here by no later than Friday, May 10. We will let you know if you will be able to participate in the May 19 session or will be placed on the waiting list for subsequent session.
